Inspired by the viral story of a high schooler who made a promposal using a GPS drawing, T-Mobile and BuzzFeed created “The GPS Drawing Challenge,” a cross-platform video series in support of T-Mobile’s Unlimited Network with episodes in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. The ambitious, 35-mile on-foot challenge concept inspired BuzzFeed to create a dual GoPro helmet headset for creative shots and develop new ways of shooting to highlight T-Mobile’s breadth of network coverage. Content was filmed simultaneously in NYC & LA and DC & LA with the talent connected via T-Mobile’s Network.
The campaign received 15MM+ views across platforms as well as hundreds of thousands of comments, likes and shares.
