When you’re hungry, resisting sweets can feel like a suspense thriller. So – we turned it into one.

This video takes the true-to-life moments we all experience when treats are everywhere we look and presents them as dramatic movie tropes, exaggerated for comedic effect. We begin in a grounded place, then heighten comedically with each scene, jumping between different horror genres for variety.

In the end, Sabra rescues our protagonist from her despair in a moment of happiness we haven’t seen all night. The lighting, camera angle, and other visual components return to our grounded, realistic set up as the roommates sit back, relax, and enjoy the perfect pre-meal snack.
